...Johnson on Monday Night Football reminded me of a funny fact about the Jets.

They are the only team in the NFL that failed to draft 3 of the greatest players of all time while taking different players at that position that year. They had identified needs at a position and failed to draft the best player available:

1. 1983 Missed Marino, picked O'Brien
2. 1985 Missed Jerry Rice, picked Al Toon
3. 1990 Missed Emmitt Smith, picked Blair Thomas

Can you imagine Marino, Rice, and Smith on the same team?

Add one more to the list:

1996 Missed Marvin Harrison, picked Keyshawn Johnson

Just hillarious. No wonder their fans hate the draft.

Good post, BuffaloFinfan! Its true, jet fans are always booing their team at the draft. Yea nice reputation. And Keyshaun is probably the biggest idiot of them all in the NFL. I can't stand him.
