A bus driver accused of slamming on the brakes to discipline children on her bus when they misbehaved was arrested.

You have seats right in front of you, and about two feet of room in between rows. How bad can the kids get hurt?

I would have to imagine that the issue were the number of break pads being used, not the kids.

I remember my bus driver doing this, but it was usually when someone was fighting on the bus. This would throw things off and actually pause the fight for a minute until he pulled over to break it up.
