Jackie did a lot for not only baseball but for sports in general. The man smashed baseball's color barrier and ended 60 years of baseball segregation. We should never forget the man that helped shape everything we love about sports into what it is today. He's easily the most important individual in baseball history. Today, every major league player will honor Jackie Robinson by wearing the number 42.
