I'm trying to figure this guy out and why we took him at #4- a high #4 at that. Just scouring the internet for clues.

Wilford is a goner, but not so sure about London. I still get the feeling that Ginn doesn't fit, but I hope that he turns it on this year. He's too soft for the FO, never lived up to the KR hype and not enough lateral quicks. He had some nice KRs taken away by penalties, though. I wonder if Todd Lowber or Anthony Armstrong will show anything in TC this year. Big wheels on both.
Look at the juke at 2:30 on the punt return. This is what we should have been seeing out of Ginn. This dude has lateral quicks.

After watching the videos of Hartline, I see why our coaching staff was so enamoured with him. He is very tough, physical, and fearless over the middle. He is also a special teams contributor that will lay a lick on someone. Regardless of where everyone else had him rated, apparently he was the highest rated person on the board when we selected. Remember, 31 teams passed on Marquez Colston at least 6 times before NO gave him a shot...seems to have worked out well for them.

Hartline will compete with Turner, as well as Ernest Wilford and Brandon London for roster spots. Hartline's love of special teams on both sides of the ball gives him a built-in edge.
"I like cracking heads,'' Hartline said.

Oh good...the Hartline and Ginn families are all friends. Neat.
