Which is more shocking: That Chastity Bono plans to become a man, or that Cher's rep lied about her client not shopping around a reality show on the ordeal?
TMZ today confirms the semi-stunning news that Chastity has decided to undergo a sex-change operation. Too fab! (Of course, we reported this two months ago, but whatever, right?) Just glad Chastity is happy and...
...settled with her/his decision in switching her female condition to his male, as Bono's rep has confirmed.
But the Bonos' request, via this same publicist, is amusing, at best:
"We ask that the media respect Chaz's privacy during this long process as he will not be doing any interviews at this time" is how he put it, exactly.
I mean, before all the news broke, Cher and her offspring did supposedly shop the very painful operation required around as a reality-TV show. Not exactly the most "private" way to go about it, eh? Either way, we wish ya luck, Chaz!
