Hershey Bears win 10th Calder Cup

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! The Hershey Bears just defeated the Manitoba Moose 4-1 to capture the 2009 Calder Cup. It is an AHL record 10th Calder Cup win for the Bears. Some of you probably don't know much about the AHL, but around here the Bears are a big deal. I went to Game 3 of the Calder Cup finals last Saturday and watched the Bears take a 2-1 series lead with a 3-0 win.

They won the series against the Moose 4 games to 2.

Also, don't anger Bears fans with a bad call, or you may hear the classic Hershey chant:

nah broadcast was on PCN. I LOVE the Bears, and their games are always a blast to go to.

They have a couple players that should be in the NHL with Washington last year, namely Andre Giouroux and Chris Bourgue
