I could be wrong, but I don't think the Jazz wanted Boozer to pick up his option. Someone will come along and offer Milsap a large front loaded deal that's going to be tough for the Jazz to stomach matching. And odds are Boozer walks after next season provided he makes it through the year healthy and produces at his '07 level.

Ouch!I wonder if he'll have more than 7 blocks next season...Chris Paul had three more blocks than Boozer had, and Nate Robinson only had one less block. Wow.Wonder what teams were in the Boozer sweepstakes.
