May 29) - A New York City teacher accused of having sex with a 14-year-old student in the classroom was ordered held Friday on $100,000 bail, the New York Post said.
Melissa Weber, 27, a social studies teacher at Middle School/Intermediate School 8 in the borough of Queens, allegedly had sex with the male student seven times between April 13 and May 14, the Post and Daily News reported, citing police. The two allegedly met in the teacher’s classroom between the hours of 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., when other kids had gone home.
