Police said the house -- which also has dogs in it -- had pet droppings on the carpets, floors, bed and in the garage that did not appear to be recent.

What an idiot. Everybody knows the best way to teach a cat a lesson is to leave it overnight in an alleyway behind a Chinese restaurant. If it survives the night...lesson learned.
