Who'd a thunk that Canada would proportionately have close to 5x as many atheists as the US, or that Argentina would be vying with China for nation with world's largest % of atheists.
Also in China 1 out of every 3 are agnostics, in Australia it's nearly 1 out of 6 , while in the US and Canada, it's approx 1 out of 8. IMO, these are some surprising numbers.
It would have been enlightening to probe further to include people of my persuasion (so to speak) who essentially do believe in spirituality but not organized religions.
