The disc titled "American VI: Ain't No Grave" is the sixth of the American Recordings series Cash made with producer Rick Rubin. The disc's release coincides with what would have been Cash's 78th birthday.

I saw him play live once and it was unreal. It was a Highwaymen concert with Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. Speaking of Willie, I just caught a show of his last Friday here in the Myer. His son, Lucas, is a badass guitar player and his band Promises of the Real opened up for his dad. Outstanding!
