Sam Young is finishing up his final class at Notre Dame this spring, but he will take a break so he can come home and work out for the Dolphins (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) on Friday.

Young, a 6-foot-8, 320-pound offensive lineman, is from Coral Springs and was a four-year starter for the Irish.

This will be Young's first workout for an NFL (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) team, and it happens to be the one he grew up cheering for.

Not a bad pick, imo. 5-star guy out of HS. Didn't live up to it at Notre Dame...but did anyone? Charlie Weis was a horrible coach who is only at the position he is now (and was, at Notre Dame) because he did the best at cheating when w/ Pats. I say take a chance on this kid and you can get more than you bargained for.

Sky is the limit for this kid . . . underachieved at Notre Dame. I remember watching the kid down here . . . BEAST.

With no fifth rounder it will be tough . . . but definitely an option in the 6th.

Wouldn't mind taking a chance on him with one of our late picks

Another big athletic body, a bright kid and a lifelong Dolphins fan.

He's slow as molasses and isn't even close to physical. The kid is literally not draftable.
