Yea because the millions Georgie Porgie paid for Giambi sure did help them post season :rolleyes:
Don't worry about bats....
Worry about pitching which is something they have NOTHING. :lol: OH how we heard how much "depth" the staff had....:lol:

Yankees are still trying to buy the championship. I guess that's their formula. They need pitching a lot more than another bat, especially since Sheffield has struggled in the playoffs the past couple years.

Sheffield will help them out, but they need pitching. I hear they are going for Kevin Brown.

Correction.. make that next year we'll win it AGAIN! And the Spankees, the Mess, and Red Sux will STILL be dueling in Decembers throwing more money at profile-player, while we win with heart players, they just don't get it! :lol:

Nope, I heard it on ESPN. There was some problem him and George had with the contract so Sheff is not signed.

Right all they did as agree over a handshake...nothing was signed or anything. I wonder if they give him a better deal or if he looks elsewhere.
