I am sure all of you know about the South Park situation, where Comedy Central forced the creators to censor their images of Muhammad under fears of Islamic backlash. A few weeks ago, a Swedish filmmaker, who has been responsible for cartoons and a film critical of Islam, was attacked at an event. Here is a video.

While Christians and Jews are always getting pissy about some sort of media portrayal, they are not causing censorship, either because they are not making threats or there are not enough of them making threats. So, is it institutional to Islam, or is it a cultural thing?
