PC gaming question

Alright, thanks to frickin PrimeTime and MarinoFan, Im looking into Madden 04. Dont have x-box or PS2, so Im thinking the PC version would be nice. I saw this (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) and Im wondering if I could use this and a PSX controller with the same effects. Anyone tried this before? Im willing to give it a try if I get an okay from someone!
