Fast-food chain McDonald’s said Monday that it plans to hire as many as 50,000 additional employees in the United States later this month, citing improvements in its domestic business in recent months.
McDonald’s will hold its first national hiring day at its restaurants and via its website on April 19 to fill the openings at its restaurants across the U.S.

I worked at a Sonic Drive-In for a long time but never McDolands. I did like it but it's hard to make much money unless you can become the store manager and still yet it depends on where you are at. Taco Bell doesn't pay crap but places like Sonic Drive-In or Cookout pays great! Six figures sometimes depending on sales.

While I've never been on McDonald's payroll, as sort of an independent outside contractor, I've got no complaints with the compensation package.
