Mark Ingram
Mikel LeShoure
Ryan Mallett
Colin Kaepernick

It will take a trade down to add a second. Projections are all over the place for Mallett, and Don Banks’ latest mock has LeShoure lasting ’til the late second. Kaepernick has been rising, but is still a second rounder by most estimates. Ingram’s knee has some people wary.

If we can somehow turn pick 15 into our quarterback and running back of the future, that would be a pretty nifty move. And there are usually some nice guards on the board in the third, where we can help the o-line. Maybe DJ Williams, Virgil Green or a speed WR is floating around in the fourth?

Just spitballing here. What do you think?

Probably not, would take a miracle.

Ryan Mallett and Mark Ingram would be insane. It would inject excitement into this fanbase that much needs a draft like that. In order to do that though we would almost certainly have to have two first round draft choices, which I don't see happening, especially without a second round pick.

I think so. Trade down, Leshore & kaepernick IMO. And that would be ok. Not brilliant but ok.

Why would anyone get excited about drafting a QB (Kaepernick) that won't be ready to see the field for 2/3 years minimum? If we're looking QB I would hope it's Mallett or wait until 2012. Let's get a franchise QB not projects.

Mallett and Leshoure would be a great start to us returning to the playoffs.
