Merged (lots): Joe Gibbs is set to return as Redskins Head Coach

A friend sent me this because he knows Gibbs is one of the coaches I most admire. Boy would I love, and hate seeing him return to the NFL.

That's interesting. The guy was one heck of a coach in his day and we've all seen what can happen when you dust off an old guy with a tradition of winning (a la Dick Vermiel.) I think this would be an incredible move for the Foreskins since Gibbs is a guy who has put together multiple NFL championships and multiple NASCAR championships; the guy flat out knows how to win no matter what he does!

My guess is that Gibbs wants a piece of the team & will act as president or possibly GM.

ESPN is now reporting that Joe Gibbs WILL be returning to coach the Washington Redskins.

Joe Gibbs agrees to a deal to coach the Skins again!!! Weird huh? Now all we need is to bring back Shula!!!!!

Snyder has been a lifelong skin's fan, long before he owned the team, so Gibbs must be one of his heroes...look for Joe to get whatever he wants--and rightfully so. I personally think he's the best coach ever.

He's (Gibbs) been out for a few years huh? Snyder's trying too hard in my opinion. Kind of like if you go to a bar desperate to meet someone, yet end up, alone with just a hand to cuddle up with at night.:foundout: Not that that has ever happened.
