My first question: why would a 14 year old need a babysitter?

Babysitter Loni Bouchard was arrested for having sex with the 14-year old boy she was watching, say police in Connecticut. According to the report, Bouchard plied the unidentified teen with alcohol before taking advantage of him.
The babysitter is being charged with second-degree sexual assault, purchasing alcohol for a minor and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
The arrest came on July 12 because police were investigating fully before bringing charges against Bouchard.
It's not clear if there was more than one incident involved, but it's safe to assume she was employed more than one time by the family. Police say the investigation has been going on for three months.
Bouchard is expected to be arraigned next week, so more details will emerge, but it's already clear this is a very weird story.
Why would an adult do something like this? Is a teenaged boy so irresistible? Most men will remember being very awkward and ungainly at that age. It's usually hard enough to get attention from girls their own age, much less from a mature woman.
It's amazing to think a woman would risk her entire life for this kind of sexual activity. This has happened before and the story has never turned out well.
