I know you are upgrading the forum or whatever, but I am not being notified of my PMS. I had 2 new PMs sitting in my box I didn't know about. Just thought I'd bring it up in case no one noticed.

i just tested it using ie8.0 and a dummy account using firefox. in both ie8.0 and firefox I got a popup notification. check your browswer settings maybe you turned off pop ups? also look for
New Private Message Notification Pop-up:under general settings in your user control panel.

I have a popup blocker on google chrome. It used to just highlight it at the top right when I had new msg(s.) No big deal though.
