..............is the best damn online game ever for PS2 outside of Madden 2004. I love it and it is becoming addicting. My wife is starting to hate it!!! :)

If any of you all play it my name is ArcticSniper my clan is the Alaska Snipers [AKS]. Current rank held is a Captain (top 5%). I can give anybody that wants to know pointers on how to get your rank up fast. (I DON'T CHEAT) I don't know any cheats for online play because I don't use them. It's unfair and I hate cheaters.

I you haven't tried this game online yet, I suggest you should.

First off,

Even though it may take some getting use to. ALWAYS be a terrorist in the following maps:

Fish Hook
Desert Glory
Foxhunt
and any other map that is an escort/extraction map

-Sniping sucks, so stay away from it, unless you've been playing for a while.

-Get accustom to using primary weapon If your SEALS, use the
IW 80, M141SD, or M14. If Terrorist use the 12 Gauge Automatic Shotgun, M14, or M60A.

-Get to know maps well, look for all the hiding spots (corners, high spots to catch people down below you)

-Watch out for MINES!!

-always get 2x Ammo

-always get a least 1 set of (3) M67 grenades.

-comitting suicide drops you down 250 points from to overall game score.

-killing teammates by accident kills your rank also.

Socom is so fun. I played it online, and I killed this one guy and I did a victory dance for him to see on his screen (wherever the kid was) and I did the "I like the way you movveeeeeee" Dance. It was HILARIOUS! And my boy did the Macarena but got **** while he was doing it.
