A headline editor uses a phrase that is a recognized turn of phrase, and certainly wasn't meant as a racial slur...And he's fired.

I agree with cultural segregation. It's a good way for men to live in peace. It can't work much worse than what we're had. That whole

I had a job where one month our duties were reassigned. I was a specialist stuck answering a customer service line, while the customer service reps were playing specialists. The explanation handed down from above was that "we're all the same."
That experiment went well.
