Chardon High School community members are gathering to form a "human barricade" to shield the family of high school shooting victim Danny Parmertor from Westboro Baptist Church protestors during the funeral procession today, NewsNet5 (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. Here are some updates about the Ohio high school shooting and the Westboro Baptist Church:
* Hundreds of Chardon area residents can be seen gathering in the town square, adorned in school colors to form a human wall to shield Parmertor's mourners in case Westboro Baptist Church members arrive on NewsNet5 live coverage of the funeral for the first victim of the school shooting.
* A poster claiming to be Westboro Baptist Church Pastor Fred Phelps Jr. commented on Twitter about the funerals of the Chardon High School shooting victims. What the ****? I know these guys are an extra dose of crazy, but how in gods name can you justify protesting a tragic high school shooting? Absolutely mind boggling.
