View Full Version : If we sign Flynn and Anderson....

If we sign Matt Flynn and Mark Anderson does that mean we satisfied the need at those positions? With the signing of Flynn and Anderson there's little to no chance the Dolphins will go QB or DE at #1. So my question is what position do we turn our sights towards? WR? Guard? Other?

I would think we go WR to replace Brandon Marshall. My guess would have to be Michael Floyd with the #8 pick (unless we trade down slightly). Floyd's size and great hands would be the perfect replacement for Marshall. Also, I have to propose that Blackmon might actually fall to us. If the Rams sign Manningham and do not trade down he may slip to #8. Thoughts?

If we sign them both it puts us in a perfect place to take the bpa which is ideal. I don't think we target anything with first but best talent. That's how we will eventually become a winning franchise

Kuechly would be aguy to look at. It all depends on who gets picked ahead of us. If Blackmon somehow gets by St.louis maybe him. Depending on how we feel abut the pass rushers that are there. Decastro is another. Yes a guard. I believe in picking pro bowlers in the first don't care what position.

If we get both, then both would be projected as starters. I agree that either Keuchly (sp) or Floyd would be considered. But I think a trade down is a bigger possibility if both Anderson & Flynn sign. Either way, we are in a reasonable spot now.

I'd personally draft Floyd at 8, then get Fleener with the 2-9!!!

I'd even consider Kuechly in the 1st & Zeitler in the 2nd.

If Miami gets Fleener & Zeitler I'd be ecstatic... Getting one of them would make me very happy.
