The trade of receiver Brandon Marshall to the Bears looks slightly better for the Dolphins today. The NFL released the entire draft order Tuesday morning — all 253 picks — and the Dolphins currently have an extra third-round pick after picking up a pair in the Marshall trade (one this year, one in 2013).And it’s not just an extra third-round pick this year. The Dolphins, already picking ninth in the third round (72nd overall), acquired the 10th pick from Chicago (73rd), giving Miami back-to-back picks. The third round often provides good depth, and in recent years has produced quality players such as Jimmy Graham, DeMarco Murray, Eric Decker and NoVorro Bowman. The pick they obtained from Chicago this year actually comes from Carolina from last year’s trade for TE Greg Olsen. Carolina finished 6-10 last year, as Miami did. The Dolphins have four picks in the top 73, and five in the top 103. They swapped sixth-round picks with New Orleans in last year’s Reggie Bush trade.
