Saw this on NFL.com and thought it was a well thought out article:

Although he describes Tannehill as not along enough in his career to be worthy of a top 10 pick (I like his breakdown) he still points out the the potential is there. I won't be upset if the Fins take him at #8 but I understand he is the definition of 'high risk, high reward'. The accompanying video also does a nice job of highlighting his positives and negatives between multiple analysts.

This one is way more positive and makes an argument for Cleveland taking him at #4

Good stuff. The last video was very informative not just about Tannehill but some other prospects that have been talked about here.

Those two personnel executives in the last video are basically re-emphasizing the point I've been trying to get across. There's a couple of elite/borderline elite players at other positions that a team like Miami could really use with the 8th pick, and are going to pass them up for a 2nd round quarterback prospect if they take Tannehill at #8.

They also seem to subscribe to my line of thinking in that Coples nor Dontari Poe are worth top 10 picks. Coples is a good player and I like him, but I can't take him at #8 because he's not even in the top 2 at his position on my draft board. I think I can get a player with Coples skillset and upside later with Malik Jackson.

Dontari Poe was always going to test off the charts in shorts at the combine, but there's no way anybody who's watched the film on this kid can have him as a top 20 pick. It's not even close.
