I doubt James Brown drops to us in the 7th...surprised he's still on the board but I'm hoping we get a Guard with one of these picks.

A couple high value picks at CB and G are still avail.

Agreed Brown would be theft in the 7th. I wouldnt mind Streeter if he was there in the 7th too. Im not all that high on him, but its a 7th round pick...might was well take a shot on some potential like that.

Streeter could go undrafted and I don't want him. He can't run the route tree, he's got bad hands, a terrible route runner in general who left his QB out to dry a number of times (and yes Jacory Harris is not very good but Streeter didn't do enough in traffic to help him)...he's just too much of a project to waste time on when we don't have a great receiving corp to begin with. Plus he's not a special teams player so he add nothing while he's learning.

Cliff Harris and Vontaze Burfict. Slipping to the 7th for both of them should be a wake up call to correct their character issues

WR Dwight Jones, G James Brown, DE Cam Johnson. Any two of these would be perfect.

A guy Slimm had rated higher than Poe, Wolfe, Martin, and Crick.

We took a DT...story from Mike Florio in an hour stating we've drafted the replacement for Odrick and Soliai...Odrick and Soliai on shakey ground.

i'd prefer to try to turn kheeston randall into a guard and plug him in between pouncey and long.

What about Alfonzo Dennard, CB from Nebraska? NFL.com has a let 1st-2nd rd grade on him. Anyone know why he hasn't been picked yet?

I think this may be a true case of the combine measurements not exactly matching up to the kids ability

i can get down with the matthews pick...i don't really know why he wasn't chosen over cunningham but whatever...

a serious question though...how the heck are we gonna keep our lbs clean against the run in a 43 with these undersized not overly stout at the poa ends in wake and vernon??? your lbs need to be able to have clean looks to the ball and i just don't see how thats gonna happen with what he have in house

I think Odrick will start opposite Wake.

Kick him inside, and take Soliai off the field for passing downs.

I think we will still see alot of base 3-4 packages as well.

I agree. But Odrick showed that he can get after the QB a bit from the DE position, and that's a stout lineup against the run (with Starks and Soiai inside). I could be off, but that's my guess. Otherwise, you're right. We're lacking size opposite Wake, and Wake is obviously and undersized kind of DE anyway.

probably gonna have to for this year at least...i'm worried about the corner position also...but i guess we'll see what the pups have

Im more worried about FS...but I am also pretty intrigued by Jimmy Wilson. Clemmons is avg but at least he can cover ground, just lacks instincts. As for our corners, I mean we didnt really get any worse. Smith needs to have a big year or he is walking next year, and Vontae needs to become consistent instead of just flashing lock down skills whenever he pleases. By the way, Im a big fan of the Matthews pick there...solid pickup.

On the video, I like the way he moved through traffic on the reverses.
