god i really hope not. whether u like the ravens or not, u have to appreciate ray lewis level of play on the field, and his remarkable leadership. would be a sad way to go for one of the better players to ever step onto the football field.

Sucks for him and the Ravens. Definitely not the end of his career though. Playing career maybe but not likely. But he'll have a coaching gig somewhere the moment he retires if he wants it. Hopefully that job being back at the U of Miami.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that an MRI on Lewis showed a complete tear of triceps, meaning Lewis is done for the year.

This sucks....I hate seeing players get hurt but it bother me when it's players I root for.

this opens the door in the AFC playoffs picture just a little bit more for the fins. The only 2 teams with winning records, the Ravens (now without their heart and soul on D) and Houston (great team, but exposed a bit last night), are falling back to earth a bit so the fins can make a run with a relatively easy schedule the rest of the way.

so sad that guy is probably the best football player i have ever seen play the game bar none.

Not really breaking news...this was on all news sites yesterday also about it would probably be the end of a career for ray because it was rumored it was going to be his last season in the NFL...it is a tough way to go out.

Sad way for him to end a career. I hated the guy, personally, but he as obviously a stud.
