Don't know if this has been posted already, but it looks as if Antoine Winfield ISN'T going to be a JET after all. It looks as if he might sign with Minnesota instead!! Great news for us!! The JETS corners still suck!!!!

Jay Glazer, of SportsLine.com, reports free agent CB Antoine Winfield (Bills) has boarded a private jet and is headed to Minnesota to meet with the Minnesota Vikings rather than stay in New York to finalize a deal with the New York Jets. It is believed the Vikings will offer him enough to convince him not to leave.

although this looks like a black eye for the jets, i am relieved that winfield passed on our offer.
i have a lot of respect for him, but 30 millo is way too much for a undersized cb that doesn't create turnovers....he a good tackler BFD...


ahmad plummer is rumored to be coming in for a visit. although he's not as good a cover man as winfield the dropoff is mere inches, he's bigger (6'), and creates hella more turnovers.
