Good signing by Buffalo. Not sure if it was an upgrade over Winfield though.

Downsides are that he is 34 years old this season, and has only played 4 full seasons in this 13 year career. He's very injury prone. He's had hamstring injuries, torn ligaments, concussions, quad injuries, knee injuries...

I'm a huge Winfield fan...and I don't see it as an upgrade at all...

but we weren't going to pay Winfield...so Vincent is an upgrade over the two young guys we have at corner.

I like the signing because the money is good...and he'll be moved to Free Safety once someone else is ready to step up.

Winfield and Vincent are very different CBs. Winfield's forte was tackling, and to a lesser extent, coverage. Vincent has shown more ability to make the big play. He's also taller than Winfield by a good 5 inches. That could be important in this day of WRs that are well over 6 feet. The day of the Mark Dupers seems to be ancient history for the time being.
