James just quit. When he found out that he'd be violating his contract if he gets hurt, he gave it up.

It is kinda funny though, he's supposed to be rehabbing the knee and instead he's out playing in some flag football league. You have to admit, that would be a pretty incredible flag football team with Edge in the backfield...WOW!
