10:40 PT: Updating previous reports, ESPN.com’s Len Pasquarelli reports the Cincinnati Bengals will realize a salary cap savings of $3.2 million with the release of WR Darnay Scott. The Bengals must still carry a $700,000 salary cap hit this year as the final prorated share of his $3.5 million singing bonus from 1998.
