What he's mostly said so far is, "Man, this kid is good."
Lakers fans, meet your new team: A nice enough bunch, pretty fast, good skills, not especially large, not nearly as many nicknames, probably a playoff team, although the month of May could become a vacation possibility.

The Lakers looked pretty good against the Nuggets on opening day. They never trailed and won by double digits.

They allowed too many offensive rebounds however. Rudy T. is going to need to work on that in practice. When they go against the Duncans, Mings, and Garnetts of the world, giving up those rebounds will be certain death for the team.

Kobe played a smart game by drawing the double team and trusting his teammates to sink shots. He still got 25 and got to the fould line early and often. He showed great hustle coming form 20 feet back to block an easy layup opportunity by the Nuggets.

Chris Mihm and Brian Cook were pleasant surprises in the middle and if they can keep up the production at 1/2 to 3/4 what they did last night, it would help L.A> immensly. Butler did well and Odom had 13 rebounds.

Great defensive effort last night by L.A., good ball movement as well on offense. The turnovers need to come down, but all in all, a nice jumping off point.

I was happpy with last nights win. The Nuggets are no pushover. Kobe didn't shoot particurlaly well but he played great team ball. And Mihm was great.

Although I may get bashed for this...I still like Kobe and have respect for him. Kobe is raw as hell.

Shaq is in a much better situation then Kobe. Shaq has Wade..........Wade is going to be a superstar (if he isn't already)!!
