Sports Ticker reports the Chicago Bears have released PK Paul Edinger. "We appreciate Paul's contributions to our team over the last five seasons," Bears general manager Jerry Angelo said. "With the addition of Doug Brien to our roster, we felt comfortable granting Paul's request to be released."

I thought he was pretty good...after last season I would gladly take edinger over doug brien...DB sucks...

I've heard somewhere on here that he might be going to Tennessee. I personally think he Minnesota will sign him because they need a K bad and they were counting on picking Mike Nugent in the 2nd but the (Jets :chuckle:) beat them to it.
