They used to be but people started abusing it and it led to off topic debates in the main forum.

That's an interesting comment. I took it to go that far and to cover candidates as well, but now I wonder if it would also ban something like a pro-PETA or anti-ACLU signature.

I would hope so because I hate Peta and it would lead me off topic, as I am sure it would others
