quick question about ps2 online

Ok so I have a computer thats hardwired into a cable internet modem and a laptop that is connected through a wireless router. So what my question is if I connect a network cable between my ps2 and my laptop would that work as a way to connect my ps2 to the internet or would I have to connect the ps2 to the cable modem.

You need to connect the ps2 to a router or directly to the modem.

i think you can get a wireless adapter that you plug into the ps2 to work with your wireless connector.... im thinking of doing that since i have wireless in my house and dont want to run the cables to the PS2
