Is it me, or does Monday Night Football Not Feel Like Monday Night Football AnymoreIt hit me last night. Since MNF left ABC, it doesn't feel like MNF any longer. Everyone that knows me can say with confidence, "The Mor hates John Madden.".... So it's not that chode. I'm not a fan of yellow jackets... I don't know what it is.
ESPN doesn't make it exciting. The song's still there, but I dunno... I just don't know what it is. Anyone else feel this way?

That's because they don't get the marquee game anymore.
Sunday night boys get to pick there games ahead of time and have the flex schedule.

I just dont like watchin it either. I think it has to do with the score in the middle of the bottom of the screen. i like in the corner where it belongs. it just feels different and wierd when i am watchin the game. i dont know, i might just be crazy.

they do not have the great commercial packages anymore. It also is not the game of the week like it was in the past. Oh well, it is still football.

It does seem different, but I would rather look at Pink than Hank Williams Jr.
 The Sunday Night game now seems more like the Monday game...better quality, even though I have never been a Madden fan. John Madden says, "And, and and,,,,," at least 50 times during a broadcast before he starts his sentence. John knows his stuff, I just hate the way he talks. He is not as irritating as Joe Theisman though. I just think that Tirico, Kornheiser and Theisman are a bad fit.

Although they have the same parent companies and as much as ESPN would like to deny it, the ABC brand carries much more clout than ESPN. And that makes MNF merely a sporting event, and not an Event.
That said, ratings seem to be holding up fairly well.

it starts at 8:30 now, which is different, the announcers arent that good..i'll think of some others soon
