And what have you found here? Really? A picture? An article?

There is much debate over these pictures as to whether they are fossils or not, but the tell tale evidence to me is this: If these are fossils, which indicate life, which would prove Life on Mars.......why are we still looking for evidence of life on Mars in 2008?

What i think a lot of people look past is that how can you say sure what a species from another planet requires for life? Is it that unlikely something we know nothing about might possibly need different elements for survival then us?

I wouldn't exactly assume that the government would tell the public the entire truth. There could be life on Mars and we'd know nothing about it.

Life on Mars is Big News! It wouldn't be suppressed. It couldn't be suppressed. Do you know how many people are involved in the project? Thousands. That is allot of people to keep quiet.

Funny stuff in this thread.

Most likely: Mars had some kind of microbiological life long ago (billions of years) in its past, when it was warmer and had liquid water, and more of an atmosphere.
But, today, it's very unlikely to still exist (although slightly possible).
I'm all for sending more missions to continue looking.

I'm most excited about a future mission to Europa (like in 15 years probably). They're already doing research on landers that could melt through a couple miles of ice to get down to the liquid "ocean" underneath, sending back pictures/data. That would be some cool sh!t.

True but for some reason, I think the government could somehow and someway shut everyone up.
