rookie head coach rookie kicker a few "potential" good players on the lines but i'm sure a couple of them will be complete busts 2

try 4-12
CB's can only cover for so long... if your d-line is getting NO pressure, teams will throw all over you all day long.

The last time I checked, our LBs looked pretty good. They have some work to do, but so far so good.

We have Pennington, who is one of the most efficient QBs in the league.

TEs made some good plays against KC. They seem to be coming around.

Having a rookie head coach means nothing as long as he commands respect from his players and knows what the hell he's doing on the football field (something Cam DID NOT HAVE)

That rookie kicker hasn't missed a FG in the preseason yet, has he?

Try not bashing this football team. You'll open yourself up for a verbal beating from my fellow PhinFans.

i doubt even 6-8 wins.. we might start the season 1-2 (beat cardinals) going into our bye.. that would def bring the confidence down of the VERY young team.. hopefully we can get a win against the jets in the opener and atleast go in the bye at 2-1 (losing to patriots)..

The NYG and SD would probably give up a 1st now. Oh well.
I think the "Confirmed - " preface to a thread title immediately makes any thread 10x more entertaining.

yes your outside lb's are matt roth? lol
and a broken down joey porter and special teamer charlie anderson what a duo/trio please.. it's pathetic..

the secondary is nothing but castoffs and mediocre players . your supposed "star" safety just got beat out by chris crocker.. wow

efficient = code for not very talented, not very good
not a top 20 qb in this league probably not top 25 and that's a fact
u can win with an "efficient" qb .. if you have an outstanding defense and that is yeaaaars away with this squad

who cares wow he made a 19 ydr last game, lets see what happens when he's lining up for a 49 ydr to win a real game.. although with this team he might not be in that situation for a looooooooong time...

yes your te finally held onto a pass in a meaningless exhibition game. congratulations. he's well on his way to nfl greatness now..
he sucks that's why dallas gave him away for squat and no other nfl team offered anything 4 him..

Also optimistic,...I've upwardly revised my Nostradamus from 5-11 to 7-9 on the basis of our decent to good showings in games that rarely are an accurate barometer of how seasons play out. More importantly, I want to go into the 2009 season believing we have a chance to go into the playoffs without any doubt that I'm again deluding myself. I do think this is possible.

After I watched the game I was a little surprised everyone was so amped up. That was the Chiefs out there who will probably be looking at the #1 pick next yr, I was much more impressed with the Jacksonville game than this one.

We are a better team than the Jets, Pats and the Bills this year....If we can win 9 games we can win 12 games.

This team has a spark this year. You all can say Im smoking or drinking all you like.....But come December we all will be dranking in front of the HiDef TV watching Miami whoop a** in the playoffs.

"XXXSURTAINXXX called it 12-4!!!"
