Anyone else hear about a Saban promise?

I was walking in and out of my tv room with the NFL network on last night and heard the camp reporter Adam ...(Shefner?? - sorry I forgot his last name but he has been at Lehigh this week covering Philly ) state something about Saban promising 9 wins this year. Adam went on to state that from what he has seen going on in Miami's camp validates his belief that Nick will quickly turn the Fins around. I thought it would be out of character for him to make a promise or prediction on the number of wins, but then again I could see a statement like that to be motivational for the team as well as give them a sense of confidence and belief. Just wondering if anyone else heard it - about 10PM EST.

I know Schefter, himself, predicted at least nine wins for the Dolphins this year, but nothing from Saban. I agree, that would be out of character.

Then for all I know Schefter may have been saying Saban doesn't agree with his 9 win promise, or won't comment on it or something of the sort, but I did hear him say something with: Saban... promises 9 wins for the season...

I had not heard that Schefter had predicted 9 wins for the season. I like that thought.

He was sayin that he has faith in Saban and is prediciting 9 wins... but Saban said nothing of the sort...

Thanks. I figured it must have been talked about on here before - didn't think something like that would get by you guys. Sorry, I really thought I heard the word 'promise' in there, but like I said I had been walking in and out of the room all night. I wish I had Tivo'd it.

No need to Tivo it, it was Safners position based on what he saw in TC, I saw it too...he was reporting the camp situation and state that he wouldn't be surprise to see miami get 9 wins this year, you heard it here first...he was pretty confident in his assessment.
