Saban is becoming the league joke. He wanted Culpepper. He wanted Harrington. He kept his DB player selections. He might want to teach them to look back at the QB once in awhile. Wake up Saban, this is the NFL not college ball.

I dont expect a championship right away, but I do expect:

Our pro bowl wr to catch the easy pass (sub in wannabe probowl TE, former probol wr, and even rookie wr or rb)

Our blitz to work more often than not. (heck even once in a while)

If a DB finds himself in a position to int for a td to catch the ball.

A DB to try and make a play on the ball in the air (ever)

Our million dollar kicker to not miss every game.

Our team to be able to get 4th and 1 against one of the worst run Ds in the league.

I don't know, am I expecting too much?

that is a matter of point of view. To me, qb was the most was the most critical position we had to address. Saban has started to address the old defense. The offensive line wasn't really a problem the end of last year(lowest number of sacks last season). The secondary took a backburner this year, but saban started to fix it with travis daniels and replacing sam madison. What you see as the worst problem may not be the same ones to him.

Thats a given but the first point still stands. Even if the things I saw as problems werent solved the team has hardely been rebuilt.

so far saban has gotten rid of old man madison, brought in daniels, will poole, jason allen, and channing crowder to be the future foundation of our defense, a RB that will be a pro-bowler, and some young talent on the offensive line...what more do u expect?

OK, I'm pretty sure everyone here was saying we need a franchise QB, and RB that can pound the ball 2 years ago. If I'm wrong, then nobody here was watching Dolphins football. These are the first two areas that Saban has addressed.....these areas cost money if you want to improve them. When you spend that kind of money, it's hard to spend it elsewhere. Once we get money freed up in the saary cap, Saban will address the other areas of need on this team. You can't gut a team completeley, bring in youth, and expect them to get better 22 games into his tenure. I understand everyone is upset with a 1-5 start, I am to. But the reality is, Saban is going to have a learning curve, and we have to give him more than 2 years to turn this team into a perrenial contender. We need to look for positives each week, and hope for good moves in the offseason. And by the way, just because we aren't winning, doesn't mean we aren't getting better each week. This line is gelling well now, Ronnie looked good yesterday, and other than the pick right to the linebacker, Joey looked good. We had some dropped passes, but that will get better with time. This team is getting better!!!!

Anybody would be the league joke if their fans would show them absolutely no support 22 games into their tenure. Saban always said not to expect too much this year, but everybody did.....fans, media, and league included. It's not hard to see why Saban is so mean to the media. He's trying to rebuild, but everybody keeps putting these unrealistic expectations on him. You can post this crap after 3-4 years of coaching. If this team still sucks then, then you can convince me that Saban was a waste of our time.

Hey, I fell into the trap too, but what I'm saying is that you can't turn your back on the person that kept telling you not believe the hype, that this will be a long process.....3-5 years. It's not like Saban himself came out and told you that the Dolphins were going to the SB this year. THE EXPERTS ARE ALWAYS WRONG....DON'T BELIEVE THEM If you played fantasy football you would know that.

Yeah, it was just crazy to think we'd take a 9-7 team, add a 3-time Pro Bowl QB; Two of the highest priced coordinators in the NFL; a high priced LT; a #2 overall RB with a year's more exerience, and think we'd be able to squeeze one or two wins more for a playoff berth! What the hell were we thinking with such lofty expectations. OF course we should have known we'd take 5 steps backwards by losing to some of the worst teams in the NFL!
