Do you want John watching Daunte or Trent for the next few years?

You want your current QB to be the same type of QB as the one you are grooming.

Why is it not that simple?

i don't want him watching any one "the next few years". I want him to watch and learn for a season and then try to take the reigns then.

Beck/Green combo. Green is the smarter QB and will be good for Beck to watch/learn from.

id rather beck learn from trent because he is more similar to trent as a QB and trent knows the offense.

I support whoever the starting QB is. I think Green will be solid (if he's not washed up) but I think the starting (groomer) QB to a rookie is overrated. I'd rather him watch the guy who wins more.

I cant understand why anyone would start a post like this, when we all know who the starting QB is.Why waste time?.Instead of trying to ridicule Trent Greene, how about being a real Dolphin fan and get behind him.No wonder no one wants to wear a dolphin uniform, H*** if i was i football player in the NFL, i would think twice about coming to Miami.

green and beck. i think this is cams real reasoning for bringing trent here. not only to start for us this year and to win games, but to groom beck over the years. if green has been anything over his career its been being an intelligent qb and reading defenses well. and thats been daunte's biggest knock. the choice regarding the guy to groom beck sounds clear to me. green all the way in this case. I hope it works out for the best for all involved
