He might be the answer to a vacancy in the waterboy position.

He's a freaking rookie himeself for the most part!! The guy started a few games behind one of the worst O-Line's I have ever seen if not the worst. He just started a new offense in his first week of TC and struggled a little, but has bounced back the second week to be the best of the 3. Now I dont agree that he has shown anything yet to make anybody believe that he is the answer, but he has shown at times he has great accuarcy, good work ethic, and good intelligence.

Thursday Practice Report

-Donald Thomas and John Beck open working with the first team
-Edgar Thompson has been watching the QBs' entire body of work today and he has been most impressed with Beck
-During 7-on-7s, Beck throws a nice pass to Jayson Foster running a post pattern and follows it up with a "beautiful" deep bomb to David Kircus for a TD of about 50 yards
-But Henne follows that up by throwing a slant to Ted Ginn in traffic and then hitting Derek Hagan with a nice completion on a square in
-During 11-on-11s, Beck throws a "great pass" to Davone Bess on a square in, leading him "perfectly"
-Patrick Cobbs continues to impress, both on offense and on special teams
-Dan Carpenter goes 4 for 4 on FGs, all in the 40 to 45 yard range

Beck will stay. Even if he doesn't become a starter, which he indeed may, surely he can be an effective backup QB in the NFL. Isn't he worth keeping just for that possibility? Beck isn't trash.

Yes, it's totally informed to rip a guy who's first starts were in bad weather games, on the road against tough teams, behind an offensive line that showed their appreciation for the rookie by not even maintaining their blocks on a 3 step drop. I mean, did anyone here actually watch Beck against the Jets last year? I don't think our offensive line picked up a single blitz that game.

The best thing that could've happened to Beck was Xerxis and his brother-in-law hitting the road so he couldn't facilitate another mutiny against the coaching staff.

Not that JT has the balls to pull on Parcells what he pulled against Cameron, but still, it's sad that the underachieving little lemmings on this team followed an underachieving defensive end to a one win season.

if you spent as much time researching the qb's as you have on your pretty pictures, you might have a different opinion.
