There's a distinct difference between the two, namely that last year Chambers commented on Culpepper's spiral, and this year commented on how well Green fits in the offense. I'll take the second option. Also, what were you expecting to see him say last year? "Golly, he throws a nice ball, but he can't read defenses. Plus I don't know about that knee...."

Chambers was significantly irked in 2005 when the team drafted Vernon Carey over JP Losman. Losman has proven to be much more valuable over time, I've heard that Chambers still holds a grudge.

Given the fact that he only caught 43 out of the last 112 (38%) passes thrown in his direction... apperantly that did not fit to well with the remarks that Chambers stated in 2006 about Daunte...from the same article that NYjunc showed... Quote:

CC is going to have many more good comments about TG because he (CC) is back in the slot, where he is best at.
TG has a good, quick release and DOES read defenses better than anyone we've had since 'you know who'. Hard to believe, but it appears that we are deep at WR. CC will want to be the leader of that group. He will step up. I hope. |

Your entire presence at FH is a tribute to JP Losman and you don't even know when he was drafted. |

Yawn, it was a mistype. Losman beat Chambers' team twice last season, Chambers' also understands that JP is the elite of the elite. He has plenty of reason to hold a grudge.

Elite of the elite? I think you mean elite of the worst. Yeah I'll give JP that legend, he's the best of the 8 worst QBs in the league. |

Heart with not much talent= let the defense carry you and with our famous vanilla defense he had at the time- it wasnt hard for a team to pick us apart in the last 5 minutes of a game Fiedler would have been a pro bowler if he had started on a team with a rock-solid #1 defense that did not fold in the last five minutes. he was on a team with a STRONG running back that never tried to thow it deep- or any 20 yard outs if he thew a lot to his backs and tight ends. He would have had be on a team with ALL of the above for him to flourish...Problem is there is not a lot of teams (none) built like i described. |

Culpepper says: "When I'm healthy I'm an elite quarterback in this league". I guess he's never been healthy because he's had only one winning season in 7 years, that included 83 fumbles, 89 INT's, & 249 sacks. That's not elite. Culpepper's like a 7-Up commercial, never had it, never will. ![]() Was Culpepper ever Mobile? Culpepper sacked 249 times in 7 years; Marino was sacked 270 times in 17 years. You do the math. P.S. If he's so good why is he still unemployed??? |
