I'm sold, we kick Jet butt.

How many times do we sack Favre to make that happen?

I'm going with 5.

Honestly, I wouldn't know where to begin. You got some details wrong and neglected to mention others regarding the Jets, but that stuff I can overlook being that your a dolphan not jetfan.

You obviously put a lot of work into this and I commend you on it.

Overall, it's not as objective as it should be, but fans get a pass on being a little biased.

Good work, CKP

Thanks. Which details on the Jets did I get wrong? I take it you're referring to blatant errors...not necessarily differences in opinion.

Chansi Stuckey I like, but he's yet to catch a pass in the NFL. Brad Smith is better, but you need more than three to run a spread like you're talking about.
Coles, Cotchery, Smith, Keller, & Baker is scary. Chris Baker is an excellent blocker and Brad Smith looks like he is ready to break out.

Chansi Stuckey and Marcus Henry look very good, but you are right, they haven't played in the reg season yet.

Well, that's all a difference of opinion then. That's not really an error in details about the Jets.

Two different posts. Now I can't remember them all (not a lot) But we traded a conditional 4th rounder for Favre, not a 3rd.

Not a criticism, you probably know more about the Jets than I do about the Dolphins.

Again, good analysis.

Good read CK.

I think your prediction is going to be way off though, I believe the game will be close until 4th quarter when our running game and the heat will whip their *** and we'll score a couple of late scores:

Dolphins 27 Jets 13

I guess he's never been healthy because he's had only one winning season in 7 years, that included 83 fumbles, 89 INT's, & 249 sacks. That's not elite.

Culpepper's like a 7-Up commercial, never had it, never will.

Was Culpepper ever Mobile? Culpepper sacked 249 times in 7 years; Marino was sacked 270 times in 17 years. You do the math.

P.S. If he's so good why is he still unemployed???

Thanks for the read, i predict you will be doing it for a living one day, good job by the mods noticing your talent and giving you that type of exposure.

As far as the game theres one things that scares the hell out of me and that is a supertalented football player in farve that has a mountain of a chip on his shoulder.

I actually watched and saw with my own eyes how that man turns up his focus and concentration when he wants to and boy does he want to. I like how u unfolded the game and i agree, i think our guys will be hyped a little too much, however i also think this team is different then any other i have seen playing in this town.

I do not think the preseason was an abberation, it was who we are and are going to be, i just hope we can catch up to the speed of the game before its to late

That's pretty much a matter of semantics though. You can say it's a conditional 4th, a conditional 3rd, a conditional 2nd or even a conditional 1st. Personally, I choose to call it the pick that it will MOST LIKELY end up being. Could it become no more than a 4th? Sure. But based on the conditions, that would seem very unlikely. It could become a 2nd, but that also seems less likely than a 3rd, and a 1st seems extremely unlikely.

So, I call it a conditional 3rd.

CK,

Something else to consider. I live in Viking land (unfortunately). Because they played the Packers 2X a year the Vikes figured that Favre would throw at least two passes a game that should be intercepted. They absolutely counted on it and were determined to make the picks when the opportunity presented itself. Needless to say, they did pick him many times. Favre will try force the ball if he feels he needs to. It should be even more difficult for him in NY as he shouldn't be on the same wavelength with his receivers yet. I'm hopeful we make the most of our two pick opportunities on Sunday. They could be the difference in the game.
