when will folks like yourself come to realize that it was the Dolphins organization that didn't want Daunte... end of story
This fact seems to be a very big problem for you. You seem to be taking Daunte being cut very personal. Why?

Quote:
Daunte fought and fought to get back. I have followed him since he was at Ocala Vanguard High School, UCF, and the Vikings.
Now that you have established yourself as such a long term Daunte loyalist, is suppose to make your oppion more valid then other peoples?
The fact that he as you say "fought and fought to get back" is significant because why? Is that suppose to make him special in our eyes?

Quote:
He was injured bro ?
He was and possibly still is. The Dolphins entered into a contract with him knowing this. Dosnt that carry any merrit in your book with them?

Quote:
It was Nick Saban's a** to put him in.
Are you trying to sell us that the great Daunte was bullied into starting by Saban. Are we to believe he was not man enough to say he was hurt and was forced to do something he did want to do? If he was still hurt why didnt he get the nflpa to file a grievence on his behalf or shoot off an email to the media telling everyone how his employer was trying to coerece him into playing before he was healed?

Quote:
How can you expect to complete passes when your offensive line only gives you 2.5 seconds to throw ?
I agree Daunte's poor performance was the olines fault, his recievers fault, his coaches fault, the other teams defenses fault, but definitly he has no blame on his shoulders. He is squeaky clean and does not deserve any critizim whatso ever.

Quote:
Yes, Daunte's mobility wasn't the best, and the coaching staff knew that.

Daunte wanted to play for the Dolphins, He wants to compete.
Your point here is what?

Quote:
Fair game in my opinion, but the Phins front office treated Daunte like crap..
Explain what they did that you think treated him like crap?

Quote:
Enough of this Daunte is a baby, 10. Daunte just wants money ?

Daunte ripped us ( DOLFANS off..)

Bro.... What NFL player doesn't cry ?
So your admitting he cried?

To hate Daunte and wish him bad luck just means that dolfans are ignorant
and full of hatred.

Quote:
Get over it..
What is it that we should get over?

Quote:
Daunte will get another shot, and the the book will be closed.
Maybe and maybe your oppion is not going to be Daunte's reality and the closed book you speak of might be the end of his career.

Why is this such a personal issue for you? It seems like you take peoples critizims of him very personaly? Whats up with that STAN?

They ignore you?

Nobody did ignore you Daunte, everyone expected you to perform like any other player in this league. Now the only ignorance that I see here is you coming in public making these quotes. Many people supported you including myself but since you were bigger than life you thought you could make it past a tough injury then blamed it on the staff.

They Ridicule you?

Who ridiculed you in public? You had to prepare this quote for this press release obviously. A new regime came in and they knew you weren't going to be their guy. This happens to just about everyone but do they make it public and cry?

They fight you?

More like you fought them, you refused to accept trades since its the formal thing to do. Miami gave you a chance and they gambled. I don't think no other team would have given a second round pick for you but we gave you that chance. Thanks for being ungrateful.

"Now that I won my freedom I'm just like anyone else out there that is trying to find Employment"

Good luck with that quote, I don't think I can find someone unemployed this year that made 6 million last year.

I'm glad he is gone regardless, we don't need this locker room cancer anymore. He went out there last year and performed for 4 games and we did our best to get him the best rehab in south florida. We payed to watch him play and our team payed him very well for playing for us.

Bye Daunte
I do not know what is going on in the mans head...but here is a guess at the above statement.

1) He was telling them he was going to be ready this time around. They did not want to hear it.

2) The second part is more about the media and fans I think...

3) Chances are will be facing him again...

4) There is a chance he will win...But let's hope not!!!

I like Cpep and wish him the best as long as it is not vs. the DOLPHINS!!!
I do not hate on any player that worked is butt off trying to get ready only to injury himself again. Then come back and work even harder to be ready. I hate that he was not healthy during his short stay here in Miami. But that is the bottom line he was not and does not fit into Cam's idea of an offense. Maybe he can read a D fast enough maybe he cannot. But it does not matter who is back there if the OL is not blocking.

Cpep is gone and Green and Beck are the future for now...Let's just be happy we have some options right now. Until proven wrong Miami can go undefeated!!!:goof:

Agreed.
