Ya i was thinking about him too... He is tough... Those Houston years were a true test of the kids durability. Bit of an enigma though, as he never really lived up to the hype of a first overall... He has alot of experience for his age and might not be a bad idea in a run first offence where the pressure is off him a little. I'm not sold on Mcown...

No way, we want stability in the QB position, not a chap that was so bad at Carolina that old man Vinny and a un-drafted rookie, who was injury prone in college, Matt Moore, were preferred to him at the end of the season

He's good, but he takes far too long with the ball. He will only be successful behind a ridiculously good line.

I would love to have him... He is young and has potential... He got thrown into the dogs at Houston like Tim Couch did at Cleveland.

I think he is a little shell shocked ffrom the Houston years. More times sacked than anybody during that time. But, He obviously has talent so for the right price...

Even though I think Carr is worth a shot, i agree with you. Volek is probably a better option and still not too expensive.

This quaterback situation is a tough one, but I have to agree that Volek would be the good choice for now.
