now now now, let's lay off the Jet's signing of Ty Law. Why people are putting down the Jets signing of Ty Law is beyond me. It was a pricey but an excellent pick up for the Jets. PERIOD. How is it even a discussion or a debate? It's the Jets. Who gives a rats azz??!!!! Now, more importantly, back to Rickywilliams and the original post. ricky WILL be here this year. As for Ricky being here for the long term, I doubt it. If he has a good year, he is GONE ($$$$$$$ elsewhere)....unless Ronnie Brown isn't around. ...and as for Ronnie Brown, until he signs a contract, he is NOT a Miami Dolphin. That SPOILED, UNGRATEDFUL , GREEDY, SHIOT is dead to me.

I am not here to argue man, to be honest, I could care less about Ricky and what he wants to do as long as miami gets the $$ they paid for him(rather it be by him paying it or working it off)

I am not arguing, just clearing it up. Do you believe everything the media says? I heard Ricky say he could not say!!!!!! I believe he left b/c Wanny refused to do something about pounding him up the middle. He knew what it was going to be like. Imagine the scrutiny if RW played, we still went 4-12 and he got hurt or ran for 700 yds. He would be torched anyway. Wanny is gone and he came back, coincidence? His agent said when asked if RW would have came back if Wanny were still here, basically hell no. As he laughed while saying it. There would be no return. But he is gone and RW is here. I take the results in hand! Yeah it sucked! But I am taught to forgive, and not to judge since I am not free of sin. I will not cast stones on him and his decision. I may critisize his play, but not his personal life.

That question in a thread might be called a "STUPID THREAD"
However if he played well, I will take him. Plus he knows there offense and defense. About time we get someone from a rival that can tell us some of what to look for. |

Ricky told the media when asked if it played a role, he said he can not say it didn't1
Ronnie is looking to play for the money. 20 mill is not enough? Do we hate him. Edge, Alexander, Westbrook,Ward,Owens,Walker, and everybody that plays the game is ther for the money. Why hat RW for it. Look, everybody is in it for the money, we have no idea of what RW was going through. No other rb can tell you exactly. RW carried the ball more than any other. Robert Smith and Terrell Davis said they understand how he feels, but it was wrong the way it was done. It sure seems evident it was a lack of cooperation on Wanny's behalf to help lighten the load. Ricky asked for a little less carries and to try to throw the ball more. Collier went public w /that. |

unless he up and retires before the season starts I just don't believe that Ricky finishes his career with the dolphins...Whether it's this year or next year...Ricky's chances of being traded are 98% IMO. That leaves 2% for career ending injury, strike 3 drug suspension, or he just up and quits.
My own little personal dream is that we make a trade with Jacksonville for Rashean Mathis (who with his size, speed and the fact he tackles like a safety is perfect for this defense). It's in no way likely but Jacksonville does need a RB since Fred Taylor has serious injury issues and the fact that Jacksonville's front office has never been know for their smarts. It's not going to happen...but a guy can dream ![]()

You need to get over it. Talks with teams are happening. One problem though, if he keeps stumbling over his two feet, he might not be traded, he might be cut.

I'm not sure if you're kidding or not with this Ricky getting cut business, but I seem to see that on here quite a bit. There can't be anyone who actually thiks that Ricky will be cut. He had 5 freaking rushes in the HOF GAME!!! Ricky for league minimum, CUT?? Folks who believe that really need to pt the crack pipe down....and soon. |
