Nice video- he seems like nice guy. But I don't get why everyone is so high on him. He only has 25 yards receiving in 3 games. His longest reception is only 8 yards. Not too impressed by his stats.
Unfortunately I am unable to watch games (can only listen to the radio). For those of you who do, does he do intangible things well? I.e., does he draw double coverage, block well, always open, etc.?

I think the reason ppl are high on him is for the sole fact that he is out there and playing despite the fact that he wasnt drafted. Now, does that say that he was completely overlooked and is a great WR or does it say that our WR corps suck @ss? Bit of both if you ask me...

Bess is pretty good at returning kicks. One of the highest averages in the league.

People are so high on him because everyone loves an underdog. He is the ultimate. Undrafted, slow 40 time, past "legal trouble", labeled a product of his college system, undersized, ect. ect. ect. I think we need to get him the ball more. He catches everything thrown at him. one game there was a ball that was really behind him and he adjusted in midair and made the tough catch. His stats aren't good on paper, but the dude is a warrior, and I think he will be a solid player for us.

I like him, just wish he wasn't returning kickoffs and punts. There's only one player on this team that is a threat standing back returning kicks, and it AIN'T Bess.

yea he is our starting kick returner and punt returner as well, i do wish ginn was back there but bess reminds me of a welker type.. makes poeple miss and will get decent yardage but not a homerun threat.
