that we would have traded Pat Surtain if we knew Will Poole was going to be out for the year? Just a question....interested on fellow fin fan's takes

I still think we would have. We were in a serious bad cap situation. He was the only one we could trade without taking a huge cap hit. We needed the room to add depth and sign draft picks. It was the right decision and one that still would have had to happen regardless, IMO.

I think so, because we traded Surtain because of cap reasons. There are some FA CB's that can replace Poole for the season.

Ya I think we still would have, but If we knew Poole was going to be hurt, maybe we would have picked up a better replacement than we did.
